Kire collects and stores the following data locally on your device: • Focus session records (start time, duration, task descriptions) • Focus recovery records • Cognitive profile assessment results • Course learning progress • App usage preferences
All of the above data is stored on your device using Core Data and UserDefaults. We do not transmit this data to external servers.
If you choose to submit feedback through the in-app feedback feature, the following information is sent to our servers (Firebase Firestore): • Feedback content you provide • Contact email (if you choose to provide one) • App version, OS version, device model, and locale
Kire uses Apple's CloudKit service to automatically sync your app data (including focus sessions, recovery records, and cognitive profile) across your Apple devices signed in to the same Apple ID. This sync occurs whenever iCloud is enabled on your device and requires no additional setup. All synced data is stored in your personal iCloud account, managed entirely by Apple, and subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. If you prefer not to sync, you can disable iCloud for Kire in your device's Settings > Apple ID > iCloud.
Kire uses Firebase AI (Google Gemini) to provide optional AI-powered suggestions such as cognitive reframing and task breakdown. When you use these features, your input text is sent to Google's servers for processing. We do not store this data on our servers. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details on how Google handles this data.
Kire does not use any third-party analytics or tracking tools.
You can delete all local data at any time from Settings > Delete All Data in the app. This removes all focus sessions, recovery records, cognitive profile, course progress, and other locally stored data from your device and iCloud.
If you have previously submitted feedback and would like it deleted from our servers, please contact us at [email protected] with your request. We will process your deletion request within 30 days.
Kire is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be available within the app.
